Ji Hood Ha stands as a prominent furniture designer representing South Korea, renowned for his modern interpretations of traditional motifs within furniture design. Graduating from Hongik University's Department of Wooden Furniture Design and the National Danish Design School's Furniture Design Department, Ha's innovative approach harmonizes traditional inspirations with contemporary aesthetics.

Recognized as the 'Next-Generation Design Leader' by the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Energy in 2009, and named the 'Young Artist of the Year' by the Ministry of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the same year, Ha continued to receive accolades, including the 'Craft Artist of the Year' award in 2020.

His work gained international attention when a piece he created was presented as a gift to the heads of state and their spouses during the ASEAN summit in 2014. Additionally, he curated an exhibition at the Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Traditional Culture Center in 2018.

Ha's creations adorn prestigious institutions worldwide, including the V&A Museum in the UK, the Philadelphia Museum of Art in the US, the Museum für Angewandte Kunst Frankfurt in Germany, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, and the National Folk Museum of Korea.
